Hurricane Katrina is one of the worst natural disasters to hit the US. And it keeps getting worse. But with all of the attention on the Gulf Coast, let's not forget our friends and neighbors who are still in need of help from the tornado that ripped through here a short time ago.
If you are feeling a little overwhelmed, but still want to help, I've created a link on the right hand side of this blog where you can make a donation to the Red Cross.
The link will take you directly to a secure server on the Red Cross web site where you can make your donation. Your donation will not be in anyway processed by this blog. Just supplying the link for you.
If you are uncomfortable with making a donation online, you will also find on the linked page ways to make donations via telephone or mail.

Wow.
Now I have nothing against people trying to earn a buck on the web, but to all three of these comments, go to hell.
Nothing like posting a comment on a message that is trying to help victims of our community and of hurricane Katrina with Dell Laptop Upgrades, Cosmetic Surgery Web sites and Diet suppliments.
