I spoke with Annie last night and have a few tidbits to report about Mark:
- Mark is down in Biloxi right now and trying to help re-establish cell phone communications at the tower/transceiver level. As of yesterday, they actually got one tower up and running...Mark was elated. So if you are trying to reach a Cingular customer in the Biloxi area, you now have a chance.
- Mark has plenty of supplies, and part of his group included a tanker truck, so it sounds like gasoline hasn't been a problem. He's staying in an RV that was part of the caravan.
- It sounds like he will start his jouney back home on Thursday.
- Mark was suprised at the reception he and his group received down there. Most people were flipping him off and being generally very rude. There was only one woman on that first day who said she was happy to see him.
That's all I have at the moment. When he returns home, I will be sure to conduct an interview.
