OK. You heard about it on the Podcast, and here it is. This gift acheives a level of redneck that sets a new personal record for me.
1) Larissa sees possum in front of our house when she lets the dogs out.
2) Larissa tells me to kill it.
3) I shoot possum and subsequently, kill it.
4) It occurs to us, that the new bar in town, the Possum Lodge may like to have the dead possum to taxidermy and display.
5) Larissa ties a big, red ribbon around the neck of the dead possum and we set it in the back of our pick-em-up-truck.
6) Drive possum to the Possum Lodge and present with a Merry X-Mas!
7) They loved it.
So yes, I shot a possum and gave it to a bar as a gift. You can't make that shit up.

Yup... that has got to win you some kind of redneck of the year award.
Just out of curiosity, why shoot it. They are so stupid it hurts, and pretty mellow.
